The Brooks Family Business
We have been designing jewelry since 1976. In 1981 we began manufacturing jewelry as "Specialty Casting". Since then we have gone through many changes from producing rings to jewelry findings, but have almost always been designing and manufacturing jewelry slides for others. Finally, in 1994 we decided to open our own retail store front "Brooks Fine Jewelry". Located in Conway, Arkansas, about 30 minutes outside Little Rock, this has given us the opportunity to get feedback directly from our customers and incorporate requests into the jewelry we manufacture.
We have always strived to create top quality jewelry. Such as manufacturing our own bull's-eye clasps for our slide bracelets, giving us an exclusive edge. We make our bull's-eye clasps heavier and more durable unlike those you will commonly find that are lightweight and have tongues that don't last very long.
In 2000 our website went live. Since then we have had an even larger response from our customers. This has led to more slide and clasp designs, a print catalog, and custom manufacturing work for several jewelry distributors.
Many customers are still amazed that when they call they are dealing with the people that actually make the jewelry and not some sales desk or jewelry store that simply orders from a catalog of jewelry mass produced over seas.
Each of our pieces will have our trademark "B" stamped on the bottom.
